What is Woman, ROCK!
Woman, ROCK! is a social group for the woman who wants to MAXIMIZE the awesome inside of herself.
Grown out of the heartland of Florida, this local group exists in West and East Polk County. Woman, ROCK! is a nonprofit subsidiary of Lee of the Stone, LLC
What does Woman, ROCK! do?
Women gather together each month to spend time learning and socializing together. These meeting are self-supporting, meaning they are free to attend, but donations in any amount are welcome. The donations are use to pay for the supplies, speakers and costs associated with the meetups.
What does Woman, ROCK! stand for?
Woman, R.O.C.K.! does not ascribe to any specific political or faith ideology. It welcomes all women and female identified, 18 years old and over. We understand the need for them to have a moment and space to connect with themselves in the company of like-minded women. The purpose of this group is to empower each individual woman to live her best life, with the benefit of connection and support of other women.
What does R.O.C.K. mean?
R - RENEW
RENEW identifies the fact that every woman faces stages, both biologically and sociologically, that provide opportunity for a reinventing of who you are. It is empowering when a person realizes that no matter who they are and what they have experienced, they can take advantage of the chance to redefine who they are to themselves and, by extension, to others.
O - ONWARD
ONWARD acknowledges that nothing can be done to change what has happened in the past. It doesn't matter if you are looking back with pride or regret.  Whether the current results of life are a result of circumstances beyond personal control or a result of decisions made, no steps can be made backwards. By facing forward and moving, she takes control of her own steps
C- CAPABLE
CAPABLE embraces the idea that every woman has the ability to envision her goals and is able to make the steps needed to achieve that future. She is able to give breath to her dreams by making a plan, face the challenges that will make room for growth, and celebrate the successes along the way.
K - KEEN
KEEN welcomes the sharp perception in which women interacts with their families, communities, and environment. Every woman should be encouraged to develop and hone this skill and resists the urge to blunt that intensity for the comfort of others.
